Skull & Cakebones specializes in all-natural products that are vegan, non-GMO, and incorporate local flavors. It’s really important to us that flavor and integrity are not compromised when “going vegan.” We want people to snarf down our baked goods then watch their faces explode with disbelief when they find out it’s vegan.

We take pride in quality control and use as many local, fair trade and organic ingredients as we can. When we started our business, we built our food standards around our family’s food standards. If we won’t feed it to our kids, we won’t feed it to you.

We are plant based. Everything we do is vegan, because if you can make a tasty dish without using animal products, why wouldn’t you?

Our ingredients are clean. We do not use any preservatives and even make our own food colorings from scratch using fruits and veggies.

2020 HOURS + A NOTE FROM US

We want to apologize for our inconsistent hours over the past few weeks. Unfortunately a series of unexpected events forced us to throw on our aprons and sling an insane amount of baked goods in a week and a half. But there’s always a lesson, growth and a silver lining. Our team became an unstoppable unit that we are so very proud of. We grew closer, stronger, and unified. ⁣

They say 2020 is the year of clarity. We don’t know who they are but we know we’re here for it. The silver lining of the above mentioned is that we were given the opportunity to reflect on this past year and how we want to move forward. Our goal remains the same, watch people’s faces explode with disbelief when they experience our vegan offerings. That means not over extending ourselves so that we can create new product offerings while delivering an experience we believe our customers deserve. That being said we have decided to modify our concept and hours for the store front. In 2020, we bring you our R&D Cafe (test kitchen) open for weekend brunch from 10-4 pm. We’ll spend the week producing and creating new menu items and offerings that we hope to bring to market across all of our retail platforms. This allows us the opportunity to hear our customers feedback first hand, know what works and what needs work. We consider ourselves a community driven brand and we can’t think of a better way to start the new decade than to hear what our community wants and enjoys. Cheers to 2020 and we hope to feed you all in the future!
